TENTATIVE ITENERARY

 

 

Bus to arrive at Maclay School by 9:30 on Friday, April 29 and on Friday May 13.  Enter the school grounds off Maclay Road, and park by the Dining Hall for loading.

 

Bus to depart Maclay School at 10:00.  Team will bring a bag lunch/drink to stop at a rest stop on the way to eat and change.  Bus driver should bring lunch also, as we will not be stopping at a restaurant.

 

On arrival in Tampa, go directly to race site, 301 By-pass Canal, to unload boats and practice.

 

About 5:30 or 6:00 leave race site for hotel La Quinta Brandon, 310 Grand Regency Blvd. to check in and change for dinner.

 

Dinner between 6:30 and 7:00, then back to the hotel for the evening.

 

On Saturday, leave hotel about 6:30 AM for race site.  Bus driver can go back to hotel until about noon if he chooses. 

 

Our last race should be over by 2:30 or so, if the event stays on time.  The team should be packed and on the road no later than 4:00.  There will be a dinner stop on the way back to Tallahassee, with arrival between 10:00 and 11:00.
